At its heart, the beginning of Arko is really a love story…but, first, a little history.
Hank was an agent with an insurance company in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The firm rewarded agents who ran a certain number of appointments each day—not the ones who served each client well. Hank had a real problem with that and desired a more relational approach where he could truly put people first.
Vicki had worked in various capacities in education and sales—from school districts to national providers of curriculum. Key things fell into place and she was ready to use her gifts of teaching and communication in a new field.
The stars aligned and Hank and Vicki met and then fell in love. Their shared passion for sales that truly put people first led them to leave their current jobs behind and start their own company. Arko was born.
Fast forward to today… Now, Hank and Vicki work together under the Arko banner in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They serve families in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas and Florida.
Vicki has 25 years of experience in sales and education. After a successful career in leading school districts and sales organizations, Vicki was ready to join Hank as part of the Arko team. Her drive and attention to detail is second only to her desire to serve families to the best of her ability. She is passionate about teaching people and providing the best service possible to the people she serves. Vicki holds a doctorate degree in Education from the University of Oklahoma.
Hank has over 20 years of experience in sales, first as a Realtor then in the insurance industry as an agent, trainer, and manager. He has led small insurance agencies to explosive growth and success and even helped them expand their business model to serve clients needs beyond insurance. One of his trademarks is being able to make complex insurance concepts very easy to understand to the people he serves. His goal in every client meeting is to develop relationships that last a lifetime and provide first class service beyond the sale.
